Three days of fine weather are due to start tomorrow, after a mixed Friday which will see clouds clearing from the west.
Here’s a day-by-day forecast for the weekend:
Saturday

Saturday weather
In the Westcountry Saturday will start out misty, but conditions will improve by 9am for a dry and bright middle of the day. Scattered clouds will move in from the West by around 3pm.There will be highs of 18C and gentle south easterly breezes of 5mph.
Sunday

Sunday weather
Sunday is expected to be warmer, with highs of 20C. It will be dry and bright from the outset, with south easterly breezes of around 5mph. Clear skies should lead to a spectacular evening.
Monday

Monday weather
Bank Holiday Monday will be the warmest day of the three weekends. An almost complete lack of cloud cover will see temperatures rise to around 21C in the middle of the day. A chance of some clouds later on.
Tuesday onwards
Tuesday will also be warm and sunny, before swathes of wet and windy weather move nearer the country by midweek.
The jet stream moves north of the UK allowing high pressure to build. This will bring warm air from the Azores and then south-eastern Europe.
Most places should see some sunshine at some point.
