The finest sunrise I ever witnessed was in Yala National Park in Sri Lanka, which I was lucky enough to visit on my honeymoon. But, frankly, as a town we are often blessed with both sunsets and sunrises that can rival those of anywhere else on earth. Just look at the colours in this snap from Combebird, which was taken during a walk to work. A slice of flame red and golden orange contrasts dramatically with the moody, overcast sky. How lucky are we to live somewhere like this where, even on a bad day, the views are always to die for!
